Before Its Too Late

wake up;

watch cartoons in the morning,

no care in the world,

slushees never got boring,

“tag” was the scariest thing id ever heard

wake up;

text messages and Netflix,

out with friends ’til dawn,

everyone had a fix,

nothing to depend on

wake up;

wine left in the cup,

trying not to weep,

guess its time to grow up,

I wish I could go back to sleep.
